what’s your deal?

I’m normality, a Twitter account (@getnormality) that became also a Substack. I’m a big SSC/ACX fan and here on Substack I expect to write from a similar perspective. On Twitter I’m a small account that tweets a lot and I love to chat with interesting people. If you disagree with me in good faith, all the more so. I will probably use your ideas to write more Substacks.

why normality?

We’re living through times that don’t feel normal to a lot of people. While much maligned, social media can actually counter that by creating little salons or gardens for the good-faith exchange of ideas. I want my spaces to be nice normal places for decent people to hang out.

why does your twitter bio say proud Disney adult?

It’s ha ha only serious. I love Disney and Pixar movies (+ Studio Ghibli, the source of my avatar). I like big stories with big feelings where the ending is always happy. It’s not the only type of thing I like, but it’s what I come back to.

Attack on Titan is another thing I like. Fighting for a better world amidst extreme uncertainty and complexity and no assurance of a happy ending.
